When Highlord Sunvird first declared the beginning of the Artirian Domain, one of his first acts was to create a road linking the eventual Three Kingdoms together. This became known as the Sunvird Road, a massive pathway well-guarded and well-maintained. During a moment of peaceful relations with Sadah, part of the mutual treatise was to extend the road into their lands as well. 10 years before the start of the Great War, the last extension to the Road was completed, linking Sadah to the Empire.
