The warlocks gathered are known as Carceri, experts in conjuring familiars. They are able to perceive through their own familiars indefinitely, and by summoning Pixies to their will, they essentially act as invisible scouts. So long as a pixie is assigned to follow a unit in the field, a Carceri can observe the field of battle without being distracted for their own safety.
A warlock will be constantly talking, delivering information to the relay who then uses illusion magic to constantly update an overview of the battle, ensuring that they always have an adequate picture of how the battle is going even if they don't see the entire battlefield.
