Ever a jealous and spiteful Goddess, Phetia, Goddess of Light, desired Kotar all for herself. Alas he was already betrothed to Theia, and together they crafted creations of purest gold and magnificent worth. Such awe did these creations inspire in Beings, that they aspired to greater heights and innovation to match the splendor.
When Phetia tricked Theia and cast her down from the heavens, for centuries did the fallen Goddess wallow in pity and doubt. Resigned to never see her beloved again, she weakened herself by neglecting her domain. The hopes and aspirations of Beings suffered and waned. It seemed sure she would dissipate into the air, never to return.
That is, until one day a man came along to show her that value is constantly in flux, and that, like a shattered vase, one's life can be put together again into something new.
