J'ack, Fae, and Xael camped for the night in less than stellar accommodations, with J'ack getting no sleep at all. Cleis snuck back to his shoreside manor, wistfully walking through his home he hadn't seen in over a year. He had a restful night, but things went sour when guards surmised he had returned home and attempted to accost him after a gruesome crime happened right outside his waterfront window. He eventually managed to escape through a window as gilded guards poured into his home.
Meanwhile Woodsworth met back up with the other party, Ashpa still missing in action. the party enjoyed a short reunion before J'ack went into town to find Cleis, with the message not to worry unless he didn't return by sundown. Fae noticed Woodsworth was constantly giving off light, and floating off the ground slightly whenever he stood still. Casting a few spells Fae found a cocktail of worrying magical auras suffusing the bunny, but could not identify the specifics of the magic outside of it being divine in nature.
J'ack did not return that evening, and after Woodsworth reached out to him via the miracle of Caduceus it was discovered that he had been accosted by the gilded guard and was in a holding cell. After Cleis joined back with the party they discussed how they would help their captured friend, and Woodsworth reached out to find out where Ashpa was. it seemed she did not know where the party was, causing anxiety in woodsworth as the "watching" feeling he had was confirmed to not be her.
The party decided on a three-pronged plan, with Woodsworth causing a distraction, Fae and Cleis breaking out J'ack, and Xael meeting up with Ashpa at the farmhouse she's been hiding in.
