Session 56: Battle at the Howling Jaws

Combat began, with the heavily armored bandit cutting the ropes to the bridge. Some creative uses of pits and sickly sweet clouds crippled the bandits' offensive, with Fortune's Vanguard and Ripley blasting through the mooks. Ripley revealed her weapon-a strange contraption of pipes on a handle that created huge dins of noise. No one had ever seen a weapon like it before. Woodsworth Moure, with the advice of Ripley and with his magical flight, managed to repair the bridge as the muffled echos of distant battle rang in their ears. The village of the Vaelhrathi was in flames, the snow stained with blood, combat all around. Fortune's Vanguard lead a counter-assault, cutting through bandits and healing fallen Vaelhrathi. They realized that Harold was at the Longhouse, and as they approached they only saw more bodies, and they heard the sounds of bloody battle within.
