The party began their journey back to The Howling Jaws, carrying the sacred oil that Woodsworth Moure would need to weave new vessels for the fallen Vaelhrathi to inhabit. On the way there they spotted one of the The Slowcart Foundation's signature Slowcarts-slow moving carts that acted as mobile general stores. The party stopped in Udrodzid to pick up Cleis Frostclaw. Unfortunately in the week he spent there working very little progress was made; the excavation efforts would require a much larger workforce than what they currently had. Unable to tarry long, the party quickly left to continue their journey.

Upon returning the snow had gotten even thicker, the bodies Woodsworth had preserved were now covered in a blanket of snow. Reiga, wayward cleric of the fallen saint Harold, had gotten even worse since they left. Dirty and scarred, he remained catatonic and seemed to have completely given up on taking care of himself. Cleis gave an impassioned plea to Reiga to find a reason to live, and create a legacy worth leaving when he was gone, but Reiga did not seem to move. Frustrated, Ripley had the Vaelhrathi pick up Reiga and force him to watch while Woodsworth performed his miracle.

Over the coming days, Woodsworth reincarnated the dead, all in all returning 30 slain to life. All the while Reiga watched, and by the end some semblance of a will to live returned to him. He praised Woodsworth, finally realizing the caretaker only wished to help people. He dubbed the bunny a Saint, and vowed to help the Vaelhrathi in his name. After some discussions on where the Vaelhrathi's future lies in a rapidly changing world, the party made off for Iatama, where J'ack Rameur's family lived.

The trip was uneventful, and the town itself was quaint, nestled in thick forest. J'ack, the party in tow, returned to his family home. Both his father and mother were much taller than him, really highlighting how he was the runt of the litter. And the party enjoyed conversation over tea and had some semblence of lighthearted relaxation for the first time in weeks.
