With new passengers on The Discovery, Fortune's Vanguard set sail once again. Escaping the shores of the Islet, they headed southwest! Encroaching on the coast of a western isle, a series of rocks impeded our way northward. Since we were driving a high-passenger caravel, the members of the vanguard were concerned for the safety of our members as we hunted to Discover the Southwestern Sanctum. Between our planning and discussions, the boat & crew were attacked by another large tendril-like sea monster. It clung to the ship, crushing it to 2/3rds around 439hp and nearly killed several of our members. With some shenanigans and circumstance, we collected a trophy from the beast and a research sample from its remains.
