Fortune's Vanguard had just eliminated two Frosty Beetles, the third running away across the snowy horizon. Hiding in another tree of Sylvean Hideaway, we planned our route ahead. We ended up following the coast as it bent, hoping to circle back to The Discovery. Milu Soma located a Strange Walled-In Structure after a day's travel. We pulled away from it, and rested for another night.
Discussing our plans to send in a scouting team or not, Milu and Woodsworth Moure scouted the outside of this strange site. Two entrances, one Large and the other Medium, were on different walls of the 40'+ perimeter. The large entrance laid bare open. Numerous slots latticed across the opposing side. We decided to infiltrate the next day.
A colossal skeletal creature was found on patrol, outside the Walled-In Structure. It spotted us, and sauntered its way towards our chariot. We got some distance from the facility, and were able to destroy it before it could annihilate us. Taking another night to rest, we approached under the blessing to "hide us from malevolent gaze" (Hide from Undead (Greater)). Taking close to the facility's wall, we disabled a strange mechanism around the Medium entrance, but could not open it as it was locked. We headed inward, closing the Large door behind us. Sweeping out from it, a plume of noxious gas erupted. More skeletal beings appeared, glancing in our direction, but did not do more. We moved towards the inner awning, away from the entrance while Milu was still partially afflicted.
Mid-transit, Milu's confusion from the trap overtook him again, and he swung out in anger. In the distance, Riply moved towards one of the inner doors, triggering a floor pressure plate...
