We woke the day after, trying to uncover more about this awful book. Without much success, Woodsworth and I took to trying to detect any trace of the curse in our party while Woodsworth invoked the divine powers to heal our friends.
With that, we decided to return back to the facility. We made our way as we did previously. We discovered that the giant oven appeared to be haunted by spirits of the past victims. We tried to burn the book but, unfortunately, it seems too strongly protected. We decided to leave the book behind - Woodsworth left a warning. I hope we can find a way to destroy it but for now, the skeletal creatures stalking the place should keep out all. We also found more of these strange bug things on the ceiling. We caught one, and using the tools in this place, were able to wind back and see what it had seen. I think we should sell the plans and this creature to better fund and supply our crew, but we can discuss it more with the group.
With that, we continued northwest. We found more of the shoreline, and then began moving more north. Milu spotted that the soil had changed, and we were able to determine that some kind of precious rock Ripley uses in her staff was around. Perhaps we could collect it if we needed it. Either way, we continued forward. We found what looked like a warning, with a long dead skeleton tied to a tree, facing northwest. From here, we decide what to do next - I hope our luck holds out.
