Deep beneath the Sunwreath Isles, rocky caverns gush with water. While the surface flow of Icemelt at SW Isles swirly by, the underflow is easy to traverse. Hidden away in Woodsworth's Sylvean Hideaway, we continued West to see where the undermountain path led. What met us was the surface of water - slowly pooling towards the Waterway Caves we came. Fortune's Vanguard dove beneath its surface, discovering the Water Station, hidden behind a Brass Door.
We prepared for the road ahead. With numerous members able to swim and breathe the cold waters, we found a small room containing a few machinations of the Ancient Evil. Two automata were adhered to a wall, facing a ramp leading to the underwater brass door. From the, water ever eternal would gush. Upon entering, we were assailed by the automata and a smaller one that clambered over the back chamber to a strange platform that emanated with purple light. We disabled and destroyed the constructs. One of the water-gushing arms of the automata flung off, spiraling out of the chamber and up the Waterway Caves...
After examining the creatures and air dampened chamber, we traveled further down the waterway to discover it lead to the overworld. Above our egress was a rushing water surface - but Milu Soma was sure we were not yet at the ocean. We swam back, a few days remaining in the melt, and planned to return to an upper junction. The Sanctum may yet be south.
