Deep in the Crystal Caverns, we emerged from a Woodsworth's Sylvean Hideaway and gathered samples of the dim glowing crystals around us.  Ripley studied over the materials, and between the members of Fortune's Vanguard, we deduced the material was Brittle, Non-soluble and is Powderable. However, it did not come up as magical when examined magically.

We continued forward, encountering a confluence of waterways ahead. Numerous machinations of the ancient evil awaited us, harrying us with bolt shots and clockwork dogs. Despite the terrain, we handled the constructs without permanent injury. One of the clockwork dogs escaped during the fight, and we learned that while these creatures do not think - some of them can, and those that do can think for other creatures. Some of the powdered crystal seems to have reacted strangely when spells were cast around it, causing the magics to shift. We were not able to determine more about this property.

Following the hound, a strange noise pitter-pattering over cavern walls rapidly approached us. It was... the Decanter of endless water! Through a violent series of clashes, hurt tummies, grabs, and screaming out words, we discerned the numerous command words allowing the device to spew fluid of few sorts. Its designation implies a twin, lost out there in the world ( Find the Twin of the Wandering Decanter ). We gathered ourselves, quite hurt from being bashed by gushing waters, and rested for the eve.
