Maiden Voyage of The Discovery

In the year 3465, on Chaos the 38th in the early morning, The Former Wreck of The Discovery begins it's Maiden Voyage of The Discovery to parts unknown. It is the first seafaring ship known to Tulsa-aria, led by Captain John Ogwang It staffs a crew of 16, and 1 refugee, Malystin. Malystin was found on the 4th day of travel, after attempting to scout the upper portion of the ship during dinnertime. He was captured, and through negotiations with the captain was hired on as a Deckhand.

The ship travels for 11 days along the natural currents and winds of the ocean, before arriving at Rosemore Island. The ship circles the island to scout it, finds a place to lay anchor, Captain Ogwang names the island "Rosemore Island" after his beloved, and sends a rowboat out to create a exploration camp.

Five days later, their passenger Zayn Moore finds a nearby Uncovered Cave, and requests the crew to explore it. Captain Ogwang obliges, and the deckhands, are sent out to explore the cave. Exploration is fairly uneventful, not much is in the caves save for the occasional wildlife, which is scared off from the mass amount of deckhands. Eventually in the exploration, a solid brick wall is found and reported to the Captain, who orders it to be broken through.

Captain Ogwang, Appraiser Zayn, Malystin and the deckhands were present when the wall went down, an effort that took eight hours and the efforts of everyone present. Blue fog poured out from the cracks, catching most of the deckhands and putting them in a coughing fit. Within the fog, a silhouette of a large humanoid figure approached, a loud thump and the grinding of stone emanating after each of it's steps. The large figure approached the captain, choking on the blue fog, and slammed into him with an arm as thicker than the poor frog's torso, sending him flying into a nearby cavern wall, the impact instantly killing him.

Panic erupted from the crowd, those who were not caught in the Fog, Zayn, Malystyn, and Umacceks, ran to escape the cave, the screams of their co-workers echoing in the cavern behind them. By time they escaped the cave, the shouts and screams were replaced with a rhythmic thump, and the sound of stone shifting against stone, getting louder with each step. As the sun set, and rain begun to pour The five escaped to the Exploration camp, and quickly begun evacuation of the exploration camp, back on to The Discovery.

The crew-members of the Discovery embarked in the rowboat, Malystyn aboard, seeing in a flash of light, and crack of thunder, a large stone man walking through their campsite, and into the water. The crew in the rowboat fought against the rough waters to get to the ship, shouting to the crew on board to raise anchor and leave, as the Stone Golem begun to travel under the water unseen towards the ship.

The ship rose anchor, but it's sails were still rolled up, tangled in rope and the wind. Now missing many deckhands, the ship was at reduced capacity, and having difficulty embarking. The ship drifted closer to the shore, the rowboat almost meeting the crew in the back, ready to raise it up. A loud crunch and tremble was felt throughout the ship, something had breached the hull underneath and the ship was quickly taking in water in the shallow bay.

The crew abandoned the ship, and the surviving members of the rowboat begun to row back to shore, the drowning screams of their crew-mates heard behind them. Some crew members escaped via the rowboat and made it back to shore. Malystin, Zayn Moore, decided to split away from the other 4 survivors and run into the island's forests in the cover of night.

Malystin and company continued to run as the sound of shifting stones faded behind them. They made a temporary shelter from the rain near the mountain side to recover. After a month, they had a fully functional camp. A month later, they attempted to track the stone man, but were unable to find it. in the third month, they decided to move to a safer location, finding a mountainside cave with a view of the ocean. In the fourth month, Maly split off from the other two to search for the remaining survivors of the shipwreck, but instead found their corpses, bludgeoned to death by the stone giant mere few weeks before. In the fifth month, Maly helped Sheldon scout and map the surrounding area of their new camp. In the process, they found many new tracks of the stone man, presumably still searching the island for them.

One rainy night, months after arriving on the island, Maly sat watching the ocean from his new camp. The sky illuminated with a crack of thunder, revealing the vast ocean and a small ship with a bright yellow sail approaching the island.
