Session 86: Be not alarmed / Panic at the Steam Disco

The 31st of Chaos, 3468 continues. We're still in this Clockwork Fortress, presumably our Sanctum BETA. We stood in a long hallway, and discerned an Assembly Line was to our east, and numerous doors lined the western wall. Carefully, Fortune's Vanguard wandered with our weapon users near the front. We discovered multiple rooms being used for Tool and Security Storage abd disabled a chamber of security constructs before moving northward. A worker moved into the hallway and gathered the remains of a Clockwork Creature that creates Walls, and dragged it beyond the north junction to a processing area. We followed.

Inside, we were assaulted by a few hounds and laborers. A spider-like construct crawled out of the room, down the hallway towards a security panel. We gave chase and barred its way, narrowly able to halt it. We gathered back inside and started investigating the chamber, when a door opened by a Laborer earlier was left open. It does not take long for another Clockwork being to be lured towards open doors, perhaps this could be used to weed them out?

Another set of creatures in a room of large, durable machinations. We harried them, and another one of those spider-like constructs was escaping through the back of the room! Our group followed, seeing a chamber of sophisticated metal devices, and another army of clockwork beings. We resisted many of their blows, but an errant magical explosion caused extensive damage to multiple components in the room. Hot Steam began to erupt in the room, and the alarm sounded from a now-hidden panel in the back of that chamber. We finished off what we could, and J'ack made way to the alarm through the steam.

Behind us, another door opened. The next wave is upon us!
