The gates of inner security were pried open. Fortune's Vanguard saw a strange new clockwork machination at the High Security Checkpoint to Research. Numerous wall-bearing constructs used their shields to wall the...inside of the chamber. A small mote of fire exploded between our group, where quick critical strikes of Xael and J'ack Rameur the oncoming clockwork wolves from biting us down. A horrifying creation dashed up to Cleis Frostclaw, ready to inject him with a strange syringe. We blew it pieces before it could harm our friend further.

Entering the chamber, hailed by clockwork crossbow-masters, we cleared the rest of it out. SC4BB1E was still under the control of Milu Soma, as Woodsworth Moure poured life back into the party. Ripley investigated the machinations left before. Deciding to not go further in, we secured the remaining outer wing of the facility - identifying another coil, and boiler room, and a secret passage into high security.


The southern part of High Security hosts a prison, each with a terrible magic pushed on anyone that walks inside a cell. It alters your mind, forcing you to forget locations you have been, replacing it with the thoughts of always being in the cell. Everything else still happened in memory, but locations are impossible to remember correctly

Inside a cell, there was an unidentified skeleton, with a very flat skull. It has been dead for a decade or more. We left its remains in the prison hallway.


Deciding to make the most of their day, they pushed to the Vault of Sanctum BETA. Prepared from our approach through metal door, we were hailed with more ranged attacked and explosions. A new being was inside - a clockwork machination with intelligence. It held its spear with deadly grace, and every charge forward was soaked in flourish. It identified Woodsworth and made a motion related to "executing" the bunny. J'ack was able to narrowly use one of the Overriding Spell powders to Charm the Mindful Clockwork Warrior. It tried to corral us into the large room where the Clockwork Doctor was, but we narrowed negotiated the means to leave

We didn't leave, not entirely.  SC4BB1E  was left behind, presumably pushed back to their previous job


We exited the high security airlock, and considered our way out up through the Maceration Chute. Instead, we headed to the lower part of the facility. Previously, we hid a clockwork overseer in a small duct that houses water pipes. We wiggled our way into the cramped quarters, with barely 45 minutes before the Mindful Clockwork Warrior's charm would wear. 


For now, it is a time of rest. We pushed too hard the previous day. We must tread more carefully from our way on.
