Bureaucracy 67th, 3466 YOLD
The hunt was on. Malystin and Bird Face were discovered by a group of a few leshies, led by a Snapdragon Leshy. The rattling followed them through the forest. Malystin took cover and was able to sneak away, and Byrd was able to outpace the Leshies until he was able to sneak into cover. The plant patrol rushed past them, traveling westward. Maly and Byrd met back up, and decided to go handle the clay.
Back at Camp, Xael was out hunting while Woodsworth Moure, Fae Wight, and Cleis Frostclaw were working on constructing the Masonry Building. Zayn Moore, Sheldon Raga, and Kr'af were tending to the camp.
Xael, while out hunting, was intercepted by the same group of leshies. By using his incredible endurance, he was able to outrun the pack to the beach - where he demonstrated a WOLF ROLL and spun a massive distance before continuing the run. He made his way back to camp with moments to spare, the pack following not too far behind him.
At camp, combat began with Woodsworth casting Aid on Xael, and Fae kicking over a table to form as cover. Advancing from the east, the leshies came in droves. Fungal, Leaf, Gourd and all ran across the sand, taking traps, blasts and more from the group. Xael made himself massive, and started to cleave away at the creatures. Mid-fight, the leshies explosive viney-deaths cause the campfire to ignite - with layers of useful tinder covering the major grounds between workshops. Woodsworth worked on taking care of it while the remaining members carefully kicked, punched, and blasted their way through the remaining plant creatures.
The Snapdragon Leshy, staring from across the battlefield, booked it. A minute after it left, combat had faded, but Woodsworth insist that people chase it. Fae and Xael ran out into the forest using Woodsworth's advice - Run Fast, and Listen. Upon hearing the rattling and discovering the creature, they continued to persue it until knocking it out with a forceful blast.
Brought back to camp, the Leshy was brought to Woodsworth, with the remaining kept on the ground and tied up. After treating them for Blue Wrath, but not curing it, he took the Snapdragon Leshy shore-side, and prepared his magics.
Calling upon the idol, he bestowed the creature a gift of speech. And with a firey cleansing of the creature's disease, the Wrath was lifted. Channeling through chimes, the leshy rose to health, rattling at Woodsworth. They spoke for a bit, until Woodsworth convinced them to try speaking in his tongue. And thus, If Any began to chatter. It took some time to catch them up to speed - they seem eager to help against "THE BLUE", and were informed through the Idol about important events on the island. If Any also seems to be very capable at bullying convincing the other Leshies to cooperate and assist.
Byrd and Maly returned to camp with the clay, and were introduced to the new denizen. In the coming days, Woodsworth will attempt to treat the remaining leshies so that we may have a more prosperous community.
