Byørno was out trapping the week's food when the events of Harold took place.
He wields an exotic weapon, a massive bow constructed from a wing from the remains of Raf'oneir (see Kymus Vaelhrathi), passed down throughout Vaelhrathi history. Byørno is the current "wielder" and has not found an apprentice yet.
Byørno was a lead scout during the initial excavations at Udrodzid, and found himself incredible talented at recognizing undead noises and movements. He was pivotal to at ensuring undead were not uncovered while people had their hands full of boulders.
On his back is a Backpack (weaponrack), with a Lucerne Hammer, Handaxe (tomahawk), and a Hooked Lance. His squad's allies would drop into the back line, approach him to easily swap to the identified/needed damage type based on the undead encountered.
His armor is a thicker plate called a do-maru. Traditionally, the wielders of the left wing would wear one. Due to his backpack and armor, he is mediumly encumbered and stays in the backline.
Having "live" targets to endlessly shoot at, Byørno has gained considerable experience over the past months.
