this fight fucking kicked our ass.
john onwang called Zayne out for abandoning him and his men, and relented never returning home.
He then tried to fucking kill everyone and almost did it, if it weren't for a meddling painting.
The party recovered shortly after, making their way back into the depths of cave, and discovered what lay beyond the broken wall:

Inside the masoned perimeter filled with fog, the party found an entrance in deeper. It was there, they were warned by a Red-Eyed-Skeleton to LEAVE, which they of course did not do so quickly. Upon defeating the skeleton, delving in deeper, the group was able to destroy some of the Clockwork Creations in there. After resting, they discovered the source of the fog: a pipe vent to the east of the perimetered facility. Delving deeper in under the orders of Xael, the group scouted towards where the fog was being made - and discovered a horrible swarm of the clockwork scourges. We ran, hard, nearly not making it out there. Fortunately, the group had discovered through scary mishap, that the gem in the center of the first room would link to fresh out, and the outside.
