Angel Day is a local Magnimarian holiday celebrated on 31 Desnus. The annual celebration marks the founding of the city, and its founders' flight from Korvosa. It also honors the presence and popular worship of the empyreal lords, which predates the city by centuries. During the festival, nearly all local businesses shut their doors and the citizens take part in countless feasts, masquerade balls dressed as angels, and the burning of devil effigies meant to symbolize infernally-influenced Korvosa.
