Alchemist
Alchemy is the ancient study of the transmutation of matter and the harnessing of elements into the art of creating various substances, most usefully and commonly potions. Most famously, alchemists have always sought out ways to turn mundane substances into gold, though to no avail. Alchemists often work in laboratories, in the employ of great wizards, nobles, or universities. Their creations are usually sold in the largest of cities, and rarely seen outside of large settlements.
Alchemists are always in short supply as far as adventurers are concerned, who seek them out wherever they are to purchase their wares from them, either directly or indirectly. Alchemists themselves hire out adventurers often to requisition rare ingredients for their work. Alchemists who go on to become adventurers are likely to constantly seek out strange or rare ingredients along the way, either selling them to other alchemists, or making potions in their downtime.
Quick Alchemy: You have learned a method of speedy alchemy, through which you can instantly brew up a viable potion in the field, though one that is not active for as long as one made in the lab would be. You may, while in a place with sufficient tradeable goods, spend 20sp to buy the ingredients to make a single Unstable Reagent. You can spend 2 hours crafting these Unstable Reagents, so long as you have access to a stable surface and Alchemist's supplies. While you can store as many ingredients for the reagents as you like, you may only have up to 3 Unstable Reagents in your possession at one time. As an action, you can use one or multiple Unstable Reagents to instantly create an Unstable Potion, so long as you have a free hand. This potion, from the turn it is created, only has 1 minute before it is inert and useless. Furthermore, it is a version of a normal Potion that is identical in every way, except that its effects only last for 1 minute once ingested. The following potions are ones that can be crafted using Quick Alchemy, sorted by how many Unstable Reagents are needed to create them:

Philter of Love
Potion of Hill Giant Strength
Oil of Slipperiness
3 Unstable Reagents:
Potion of Resistance
Potion of Growth
If you choose Alchemist, you gain the following:
~Either a +1 to your Intelligence score or a +1 to your Constitution score~
~A Skill Proficiency in either Arcana or Nature~
~A Tool Proficiency with Alchemist's supplies~
~The following items: Alchemist's supplies, 3 glass bottles, 2 glass vials, a canvas apron, and a belt pouch with 10sp~
