1st of Bonfires
The Reclaimants jumped into action fighting the two diseased zombies. Tanythe and Beans eviscerated two of them with an exceptional display of skill and ferocity. With the zombies taken care of, the party took a moment to recover and Tanythe noticed that there was a gap in the fresco between two statues. After some more investigation, she discovered that it was a secret door. The statues each had an inscription and one had a strange tattoo on its neck: Left- may your rest be long a fruitful my brothers and sisters. Right- the doorway to the soul is in the eye of the beholder.
Leith noticed that the right eye of the right statue had a gap around it. Pressing in the eye, the secret door opened, revealing some kind of library. A golden version the statues tattoo was inscribed on the wall. Leith and Aurent believed that it was the symbol of L'rog'g the tether of kinship.
Tanythe recognized the symbol as being one of a cult in Gostra called the cult of Mr. Skin. The cult had supposedly brainwashed the mayor to take over the town, but had eventually been found out and wiped out.
Exploring the room further, the party found many scrolls and books. One book in particular appeared to be bound in elven skin and was titled "The Seven Psalms of the Black Star".
TLDR: Can I get a big ole NOPE for fucking with that book? Of course not, Addendum wants to read it :')
