Massaru

Massaru is a native of the Ravounel capital of Kintargo; she is a squire of the Hellknight Order of the Torrent, and was rescued by the resurrected Silver Ravens during the rebellion.

Her time imprisoned was harsh, and she was wracked by terrible headaches. Warlike forces flooded her mind, she saw visions of glorious combat, of throwing off the yoke of their oppressors who so perverted the law. This was the beginnings of her oracular curse: the inevitability of conflict when the oppressed must overthrow the oppressors.

After Kintargo was liberated, and her Order freed, Massaru redoubled her efforts to finally become an armiger, and with her newfound oracular power coursing through her, perhaps a signifer as well.

Her Order's charter takes her far from Ravounel as she seeks to keep the peace, and find missing persons long thought lost. She has since joined the Pathfinder Society, both an extension of good-will from the devastated-but-recovering Order of the Torrent, and to prove herself.

Massaru has recently passed the Hellknight Test and become a full Hellknight, taking on the mantle of Signifer, and may be the first of her order to do so.
