- Character Creation Notes
- - ALL Versatile Heritages are Common
- - ALL Ancestries here are now common: https://2e.aonprd.com/Ancestries.aspx (yes, even Shoony)
- - Your Ancestry does not need to match your visual aesthetic (You can be a wolf-boy using the Elf Ancestry if you want), but know that the pre-written content does often feature the common races.
- - Each character may have 1 Uncommon aspect about them (Item, Feat, etc) PER LEVEL, not necessarily decided at Level 1.
- - No RARE, Adventure-Path-Specific, or Legacy Backgrounds
- - No Voluntary Flaws, no Free Archetype as we are keeping to default build rules
- Class Adjustments
- - (SPELLCASTING ARCHETYPES): You may additionally select spells outside of the Core rulebook, unlike the typical archetype text.
- Specific Rulings
- If a Primal caster puts shattering gem on someone and then casts protector tree next to them, does the attacking person have to swing through both things? Or is there a rule where only one thing can defend
DM Floh's Response:
shattering gem triggers on strike, but heavily implies text that strike must have hit and be dealing damage
protector tree also triggers on similar text
Due to you having basically two things happening simultaneously, you get to decide the order (much like how start of turn and end of turn text works)
