Odd Stories is one of Otari’s most distinctive shops: a three-story stone tower looming over a one-story wooden bookstore. A sign above the front door depicts a stack of open books with lines of magical energy rising from the pages. The shop is the home and business of the wizard Morlibint, a scholar who enjoys talking about magical theory only slightly less than thrilling fiction.
The wizard Morlibint specializes in fanciful fiction, but he and his husband also sell textbooks, teaching tools, and scrolls of wizard spells. Morlibint is incredibly well-read and can help decipher tomes in ancient or unusual languages they might encounter in their adventures. He eagerly purchases rare books the heroes come across in their adventures, hoping to resell them at a profit (after reading them himself, of course).
