Jack Stratt is the president of the BBCWR, and a direct descendent of a sailor on one of the Naval Vessels taking part in the Union Blockade of the south. A fact that he was very proud of, especially since he was one of the few who in the BBCWR that could point to Brindlewood Bay's participation in the American Civil War. This also caused some friction with the other members of the BBCWR, since as a naval officer, he wouldn't stand around in the summer wearing a heavy wool uniform.

Outside of the BBCWR, he was one of the town's dentists, a member of the Rotary Club, and a back up tenor in his church's choir.
