Freth Charmant is the 132nd Minister of Defense, following the death of Captain Faustillus Agmulf during the aftermath of the Empearbury Vigil. He is a product of man wrought from rags and trained in the art of war. Originally a rebel in The Final Empire, he escaped under an alias and joined the Holy Knight Order in Gadencia.
He was close friends with Sergius Olibarri, an Imperial who fought alongside Freth in the Shurian War against The Final Empire. Unfortunately, sometime during the Battle of Alms in Imperium, Sergius betrayed the army and opposed Freth, which spiraled into an all-for-nothing battle against the former best friends. Eventually, Freth rung victorious, and his former friend faded into the Void, never to be seen again. His son, Atlas Olibarri, was later adopted by an Imperial named Caius Maximus.
Following both his days as a rebel and his days alongside Sergius, Freth was promoted to the right-hand of the Holy Knight Order. He served a scant year before the demise of Captain Faustillus Agmulf, leaving Freth suddenly in charge. Contrary what you might think, Freth turned out to be an incredibly capable leader, and is currently striving to begin the reconstruction of Empearbury.
