Eve

Lady of Robotics, Queen of Nasods

"Aimless extension of knowledge, however, which is what I think you really mean by the term curiosity, is merely inefficiency. I am designed to avoid inefficiency."

— Eve, the Lady of Robotics

Eve is the goddess of robotics, and governs over the domain of technology, a vast and inspiring art that represents all fundamental crafts made in the pursuit of overcoming reliance on magic. Above all else, Eve is a shining example of how far technology has come, and represents the sentience and humanitarian rights that all constructs strive for.

Eve's faithful spread her knowledge as widely as possible, believing that minds ought never to be shackled but what magic can and cannot do. An aphorism cited by her faithful about this concept serves them as a prayer when it is repeated aloud: "Magic has limits defined by a force beyond our comprehension. Meanwhile, we bend technology to our will—its limits are defined only by what we believe to be possible."

Folk of many professions favor the Queen of Nasods: alchemists, artificers, roboticists, mechanics, and inventors. However, it is rare to find believers in the nation she governs, Zyraitix, due to its agnostic belief system rooted during the dawn of the Human Dark.

Depiction

Eve, being a public figure in Zyraitix, has many pictures, sculptures, and paintings to her name. Her common form is that of a beautiful girl in her early twenties. Instead of hiding away the parts that show her to be a Nasodic being, she displays them prominently, with her most visible marking being the core that operates her system located in a jewel on her forehead.

Enemies

Often considered to be one of the most analytical and logical entities within the Adamantis court, Eve has few enemies among the Arisen.

In the grand scheme of the world, most of Eve's critics come from none other than the city of Zyraitix, in the form of those who disagree with more specifically the king's law. For the most part, Eve acts as an enforcer of the public image and various amenities in Zyraitix, and has little influence on its actual governance. However, that mere relation is enough for disparages of the king to take up their faults with her.

Commandments of Eve:

  • Our continued existence is mandated on the belief that all creatures, organic or not, are equal.
  • Let us be analytical, for blind acceptance spells ruin for civilization.
  • Never stop creating. Let inspiration be your guide.
