The Lord of Assassination was not given this title lightly. Talos has perfected the art form of a clean, and unseen kill. He is a master tactician, and often is known to plan out intricate modes of attack to defeat enemies unconventionally rather than fighting head on. None would even know if you were the victim of the Master Assassin, unless he wanted others to know.
Talos is ironically considered to be a deity who represents the ideals of honor and duty, which goes to show the great divide between how a deity carries themselves, and what they stand for.
Having been born an Arisen, he considers himself under more responsibility than his contemporaries. His work causes him to leave Adamantis for months at a time, traveling through the Planes in order to stop wars and infighting between the gods and goddesses who reside there. His main interest is abiding by Primus's will, and issuing order within the Hall of Arisen.
Once, during his youth as an Arisen, he was taken by a human woman named Otacilia, whom he attempted to pursue. His actions were rebuffed, however, leading to the then arrogant Arisen to mock her way of living as "selfish" and returning to Adamantis. This woman was a renowned assassin, and her way of fighting had earned Talos's attention—however, she fought for no true goal, and instead pursued her own simplistic interests of earning money and fame with her contractors.
Many centuries later, the woman who had smitten him had been granted a Spark of Divinity. She had somehow distilled a poison which could harm the gods, and before her trial that would have likely removed her soul from the cycle of rebirth, she ascended. As Talos was out on business at the time, upon his return, he became flabbergasted.
The woman, Otacilia, adopted the name Comprel, becoming the Arisen of Alchemy and Poisons.
Talos is worshiped far and wide by assassins all over Kagrea, who pray to him in times before desperate, life-threatening missions. His faithful swear by his name, and those who oppose the Order are swiftly eliminated. Talos has little interactions with his followers, preferring them to mark their own path in the world and strike as their heart dictates. His commandments are simple and to-the-point, establishing the groundwork which acts as the foundation for a master assassin of the future.
Depiction
Talos generally tends to take the form of a disinterested human male, more specifically, that of an abyssborn. While he has crafted an equally divine mantle representing his "other half", he has never been seen to transform publicly.
Because of this, Talos has also earned several monikers identifying him as the "Father of the Abyss". Many identify Talos as being the one who created the abyssborn as a link between the Lower Planes and the Material. Talos denies this fact, stating his actions were "ones dictated by fate". What this phrase means is currently unknown.

Enemies
Talos is not hated by many in the Adamantis court, however as with most in Oath, he outwardly opposes those in the betrayer faction. Talos is a firm believer that as an Arisen he has a duty to uphold, and generally works to undermine those who are against Primus and his set laws. This is never down outwardly, and often times people who consider themselves close to Talos are actually his next target.
Commandments of Talos:
- When moving to strike, ensure your victory beforehand.
- Acting on impulse is a vice that will get you and others killed.
- Know your enemy, better than you know yourself.
