The Band is a roaming group of gunslinging mercenaries that travels all across Kagrea, taking whatever jobs are available for them. They made their name mostly off of protection and monster hunting, having defended a good number of people and villages as well as having tracked down and destroyed multitudes of different kinds of monsters.
Not much is known about The Band, except that its members are surprisingly loyal and treat each other as family. The only well-known fact about them is that when someone joins The Band, they must give up their name and instead replace it with a title. Most members add extra letters to their titles, though no one knows why.
Currently, they have 13 members, led by a woman known as The Headd. Any extra information about The Band is known only by members of the group, and they aren't known to split from The Band very often as long as they're alive.
Notes about The Band:
- The Band, while being a mercenary group, are not bandits. They band together to bring meaning to each of their miserable lives while rising to do better for people.
- The Band has but 3 Adventurers in its rank, but they are all extremely skilled gunslingers and fighters in their own right.
- There is no discrimination in The Band. Once you join, you are treated like family and are expected to treat your fellow members the same way.
- Leaving The Band is possible, but there are specific things you have to do in order to do so cleanly.
- Someone does not have to be with The Band at all times to be a member. You do, however, need to keep in touch.
