Those who seek to defend rather than live. Those who put their lives on the line for those they see as valuable. The path of the Lord of Defense is a lonely one, and his followers share in his grief and his struggles. Those who walk alongside the Lord of Defense are those who view the suffering of life as an inevitability, and are willing to use their body as a bulwark to shield others from that harm. Throughout history, time and time again, there have been heroes whose names have been forgotten to the annals of time after committing the ultimate sacrifice. A sacrifice that came at the greatest cost to themselves, so that others may live and emerge victorious.
Whether it be the farmers who decided to raise their sword and fight against encroaching bandits to allow their families to flee, the guardsmen who raise their spears against the encroaching beasts that would soon overrun the town, or the ones who decide to leap in front of others to protect them from harm, it does not matter. While their sacrifice may never be known to the world, Paragon sees their sacrifice. The will and drive to allow others to prosper and survive, no matter the cost.
Any price is willing to pay if it means that those or what they care for manages to survive. Those who know that with sacrifice, others may live on and bring new life and prosperity. Those who see beyond the meagerness of their own life, and know that it is more than worth the price to defend what they value most.
Depiction
Paragon depicts himself most closely to a heavily armored Warforged, his silver armor and celestial shield gleaming in the sunlight. No vulnerabilities or any weak points can be seen in his armor, Paragon embodying defense wherever he goes. Always ready to shield those who need it from harm.
Allies / Enemies
Paragon often distances himself from the other Adamantians, refusing to forge an intimate bond with any though he does have an underlying respect for ones such as Elion and Elegad.
Others such as Asterin and Armaros often view him with some disdain, citing his willingness to so easily sacrifice himself for others, though they still hold some respect for his commitment to such deeds.
