Kryzdia, firstborn into a noble house in the continent of Yonia and daughter of the first wife, was raised from a very young age to be a gentle and educated lady. Being the only daughter of a noble family, she was adored by her father. Bearing a semblance to her now-deceased mother, her father could do nothing but shower her with gifts and affection. Her family had served directly under the emperor for many years and possessed the fortune of producing many of the nation’s heiresses. As was her predecessor, she was raised to take her side next to the emperor one day as a future empress.
At the age of 16, she entered the palace as the crown prince's rightful first wife. Praised by many for her elegance and intelligence, she soon grew to be pretentious and vain. After years of marriage, she became bored of her life as a crown princess; her servant's adorations were insufficient. Her desire for power grew stronger by the day to the point of driving her to madness. Using one of her maidservants, she poisoned the emperor and empress, as both possessed greater power than she and were the only things standing in her way. Falling into her trap, both of Yonias rulers fell dead as well as the maid, killed by Kryzdia's own hands.
At the age of 20, Kryzdia had ascended the throne together with her husband; but to her dismay, she could not produce an heir even after four years of marriage. The council pushed the young emperor to get three concubines to produce a rightful heir to the throne, and to appease his vassals, he did as they suggested. The young emperor was unaware but by doing so he had just marked the deaths of innocent women.
In 3 years, more than 20 concubines had entered the palace, all of whom died mysteriously without producing a single heir. Women feared joining the place, and nobles became reluctant to send their daughters. At the age of 25, Kryzdia finally carried a child inside of her. The country rejoiced, and a banquet was held in the empress’s honor. Sadly, it ended in tragedy. One of the noblemen whose daughter had been assassinated by the empress became blinded by rage and attacked Kryzdia, causing her to not only lose an eye but the life of her unborn child.
Losing the child, the object that would allow her to have even more power, enraged Kryzdia to the point of no return, making her take the final step. Believing that the only power higher than the emperor was that of a god—to become the thing above all beings—she set out to offer her family’s life as a sacrifice for the power she sought.
As she poisoned her family, her father's looked up to her and asked with his last breath, "Why, my daughter? I gave you everything after your mother's death."
She looked at him in disgust.
"I made you give me everything; I forced your hand by killing my mother. My hands created every piece of jewelry, every dress, every gesture of affection. I made your love for me; my deception made you into this weak person attached to something as simple and breakable as human emotions."
Upon these words and the collection of the life force of a whole bloodline, including her blood, she rose to divinity, never to see the mortal plane again.
Depiction
Enemies:
She hates and wishes to destroy every god or being that believes to be above her. She hates those who preach love and peace and believes them to be fools. She bears a strange hatred for Chadwick; she feels ashamed to be in the same godly position as a man who only wants peace.
Commandments of Kryzdia:
No fool loves without reason, but there is no reason to love if you are not a fool.
The path to the top is full of thorns, so let the blood run through them.
Carry yourself like you are high and mighty, but never higher than me.
