Crimson Cristoferos

The Clay Shepherd of Mytros

Crimson Cristoferos is a Mytrosian potter who has had a number of run-ins with Braz who has the unfortunate habit of breaking his red wares.

The Oracle's Chosen first encountered the man in Estoria where Braz, sent mad by Lutheria, knocked over his stalls while believing himself to be a cow. The minotaur, with help,  paid off his debts the next day and, with this new windfall, Cristoferos returned to Mytros.

Then, during the Great Games, disaster - or rather Braz - struck again when the minotaur ran his chariot through Cristoferos' Mytrosian shopfront destroying all his wares once more. To compensate for this, Braz ended up giving him his mithril medal - though this was swapped out by Hippofilius for his own unbeknownst to Braz.

Cristoferos has now left town once more - though it is unclear if this is to go to the Mithral Forge as he said he would, or to just hide from the group that seem to constantly be terrorising him.

Growing up on a small farm to the West of Mytros, Cristoferos learned to make simple pots to sell to travellers. Inspired by the setting sun he added deep hues of red pigment to his pots. These were very popular and trade increased significantly, allowing him to leave his family with a small sum to sustain them whilst heading to Mytros to find his fortune.

Living in an abandoned warehouse as part of an artists collective was a very productive period for Cristoferos, and it was here he met Alexa. They fell in love and created some amazing work, including the famous 'Purple Amphora' - a collection of work in a colour so vibrant that they became the talk of the art world.

Cristoferos and Alexa were then able to move out of the artist district and buy a workshop next to the Great Agora. However, the pressure of their success played on their love and Cristoferos' passion led to him becoming upset with Alexa's cool, calm personality.

Their split was messy and public.

Cristoferos returned to his roots, making deep red pottery, and began to travel the world, selling his once-famous wears and trying to forget his love.
