Estor Arkelander was one of the original Dragonlords and brother of Telemok Arkelander. He was the first King of Estoria, which was named for him.
During his time as a Dragonlord, Estor cut down Demetria's sister's tree. He also led the battle that saw the massacre of the Gygan's at Yonder and began the First War in earnest.
Estor was not always so cruel; it is said he became worse as his jealously of the other Dragonlords grew.
Although Estor has a tomb at the Necropolis at Telemok, his body is not interred there. He disappeared with the Ultros after the First War, taking a lost treasure with him. His tomb is covered in murals depicting slaughter, pain, and fear. One panel depicts his dragon beginning for mercy for his victims, and the door of his tomb is carved from a blood-red marble.
A famous play, 'The Fall of Estor' written by Tassos, claims that Estor was abandoned by his dragon before sacrificing himself to save his ship and crew in a battle against a Siren pirate. Kyrah disputes this; though she refuses to say what really happened.
Until recently, Estor was thought long dead. However, the Oracle's Chosen have found him 'alive' on the Ultros, where they discovered that he took part in a dark ritual offered to him by Lutheria in order have everlasting life. He wrote about this, and his slaughter of his crew, in his Journal.
