I’m not entirely sure what I expected to happen in the sewers, but it’s not this. I’m only vaguely sure of what I was hoping would happen and it is most definitely not this.
Capable, well-versed fighters welcomed us as we entered the Lady of Coin’s domain. And by welcome I am referring to something similar to the usual welcome a medusa gets - they sneered and tried to kill us. And that was about as far as they got. One is sliced in two, despite my feeble attempt to stop Helikaon’s sword. Another two are unconscious thanks to Loreus’ song steadying our hands and prevent outright murder. I can only hope that will help our case with Moxena… surely, there must be a solution to all this that doesn’t involve spilling everyone’s blood. And I’m sure we’ll find out quite quickly, as the last two of the welcoming party have fled, one of them hurriedly ‘to let the Lady know’...
