I don’t think I particularly helped matters, trying to descend into the sewers. Hooves are not made to descend ladders and as I fell the last few foot, the clanging of the iron grate gave up any chance of stealth we might have had.
As we entered, Theo tried to charm the first of her lieutenants we came across- the magic user bard that sent her word of us- but unfortunately we didn’t see some of his other compatriots in the shadows and we were headlong into conflict.
An armour clad veteran, an archer with as good an aim as I’ve ever seen and the swashbuckling rogue fell, but the charmed bard and a short magic user whose eyes glowed green as she hurled bolts of force at us managed to escape further into the sewers.
The fight was arduous, but the question remains- if this is how strong her servants are, how formidable is the Lady to keep them in line?
