Long travel up to Estoria and then further into the Heartlands. Haven’t been here in quite some time, and I do prefer travel by sea so much more than this. But if this message is from the Oracle and as much as I’m not overly keen on her air of all-knowing superiority, she can have some tricks up her sleeve every now and then, so best follow.
Pub in the middle of nowhere, just the type of place adventurers meet. And one mixed bunch – though clearly a fair amount of brawn… and limited subtlety. Except for the small one, gnome I think, Theo, he seems quite knowledgeable. The siren (Calliope, I’m sure it must be that!) too, I hear quite remarkable things about her, though she does rather behave like a small child that’s just changed school. Maybe she’ll grow into the stories told about her.
The host, Kyrah is at the centre of our debate – is she or is she not a goddess? Who cares, what with the promiscuity of certain gods many of us (yes, us!) are part god anyway and in a world such as this one does it make that much of a difference unless, say, you ruled the seas?
Not to forget – we’re supposed to kill a boar. That is the task for tomorrow. Have definitely faced worse enemies.
