This place was more than Braz could imagine. Last night he was surrounded by the adulation of the crowd who made him feel part of something bigger and then today, when trying to get re-shod he ended up meeting his 3rd god in 3 days.
Braz had been particularly impressed with Volkan - rather than live on past glory like many of the other gods he had met (who had maybe not lived up to the reputation they had mustered) Volkan was making some ornate, beautiful and technically wonderful items.
He did still need his shoe done.
Meeting the others at the market he heard of Theo's investigation into the missing dragonhorn and also the missing children from a round town. He learnt of Alke’s visit to the north gate and Helikaon’s visit to the temple of the dragonlords.
But before long it was time to try and get to the task in hand and uncover what was happening with these sacrifices. The party headed to the banks and watched as a strung up cow was turned to stone and eaten by a quarry of basilisks. This was not going to be as easy as Braz had hoped.
