1She’s the Queen now I suppose. Does it sound more impressive if I use Queen here? Ah, I should probably leave it as it is. I really hope she’ll make a good Queen though. I think she will.
2Who would have thought that the weather would be the most difficult problem we faced that night? Not us for sure - we were completely unprepared! I guess the clue is in the name ‘Lord of Storms’. I think we all just assumed he wouldn’t be threatened enough by us to try and deal with us personally. Lesson learned I guess.
We really were so close to dying on that rock. If Pythor hadn’t been there to deflect Sydon’s lightning, I don’t think we would have survived. That’s a sobering thought. Not just for us, but maybe Pythor too - after all, it got him to hang up his hammer and give the throne to his daughter... I wonder what he will do now? He seems keen to find a purpose, but it must be difficult when you are a God of Battle that can’t battle… maybe he needs to find himself some hobbies.
3I didn’t quite realise just how single-minded Braz is when it comes to harpies. His dedication to his cause is... admirable! But the fact that he ignored our goal in order to pursue them when they weren’t hostile worries me a little. It was fine this time… well, sort of. I was hurt quite a lot actually - his deviation from our fight meant I was left alone with one of the basilisks during some crucial moments.... You know, I’m probably worrying over nothing. He’s a great warrior (especially compared to me - I still haven’t figured out if I can actually use the sword I am carrying around): I am sure he knows what he is doing.
