Listen closely and I’ll tell you how,
A mighty monster king lost his crown.
Down in the mines, living without a care
I'll tell you how the Oracle’s Chosen overthrew him there.1
In West Thylea, underneath the falls,
A cursed mine, the source of a number of woes
Monsters, evil, a smell most foul
So awful, enough, even the Gods did scowl.
When our brave heroes, there to do good,
Came to liberate when none others would.
They bravely entered the cave, not one of them scared,
For to save all of Thylea is what they declared.
When they got there they heard scream after scream,
The situation was worse than it seemed:
They captured warriors, mighty ones too
And so with that, they knew what they had to do.
Charge in, a hard won fight,
But necessary to rid the world of this blight.
But wait, what is that round the corner?
More evil in this realm of disorder.
A king, more fearsome than his brethren.
Sitting there with such a gruesome expression.
But our heroes didn’t despair,
They were ready, prepared, to fight this nightmare.
Smarter than the rest, this awful lout;
Tried to outsmart our heroes with both brain and clout.
But they refused to budge, with wits and sword,
They launched their attack, a fierce collective roar.
They brought him to his knees, with their might,
Working together, it was a hard won fight.
Evil was its heart and entrenched in its lair,
Though against our heroes, it hadn't a prayer.
And so ends the story, of tyranny stopped,
And of the monster, that time soon forgot.
Down came his kingdom, and so too his kind
Overthrown from his seat, as the King of the mines.2
