Braz - Session 21

After the Mine

The long days in the mine, followed by the relighting of the fire refilled Braz with purpose. The completion of the labour reaffirmed to him the parties commitment to the prophecy.

Although the next task already began to filled Braz’s mind there was work to clear the mine. By ordering and cleansing some storerooms into more permanent accommodation the party was able to build a homely base in the north.

Whilst completing this task Theo came to Braz, concerned regarding his reported loss of cognition and memory during the fight with the cerberus. 

Braz sat with Theo and listened. Although he was concerned for the distress of his friend the mists of past and future were common to Braz, the future and past like clearings in the forest, obscured and changing in appearance as one moved down the path of life. Any idea of an individual's sacred place in this forest of time fell into insignificance when compared to the infinite other watching eyes.

As it was time to move out and head back to Estoria another decision fell to the party and another chance for Braz’s burgeoning idea of collective decision making came to the front. The bambles led away from the main road.

This path led to a temple, with a druid and a monster of vines. The druid spoke of old gods, the nature of divinity through worship and other ideas which began to smoulder the ripe kindling in Braz’s mind.

The druid was in possession of Kyrah's stolen harp and attempted to charm the party. Once dispatched the party explored the temple and took some artifacts for further consideration as they approached Estoria.

However this was changed as Lutheria’s voice rang round the head of the party as they slept. When they woke, things had changed…
