Helikaon - Session 21

Song
The fool with the shrub

There he stays, alone with a shrub,
The man with the luted harp is keeping watch even still,
But no god seems to find him
They can see that he's just a fool
And he sings for ever after.

But the fool with the shrub
Sings a song to the crowd
But the god he sings to
Never stirs to the sound.

Singing away, power stringing out
The man of abandoned gods claiming to never renounce
But Helios never hears him
Or the claims to power he makes
And he never seems to notice

But the fool with the shrub
Sings a song to the crowd
But the god he sings to
Never stirs to the sound.

And the goddess will not claim him
She demands her belongings true
And he cannot deny her calling

But the fool with the shrub
Sings a song to the crowd
But the god he sings to
Never stirs to the sound.

He never listens to them
He thinks that they're the fools
They don't obey him
The fool with the shrub
Sings a song to the crowd
But the god he sings to
Never stirs to the sound.
