Hippofilius - Session 37

Journal
December 15, 2020
It was still dark on the city streets as we parted ways. Calliope and I took the former slaves out of the city, before our enemies could regroup and find out what had happened.

The others took the surviving guards for trial with Vallus and to hand them over to her Amazon bodyguards.

As we came back into the city, we made a side trip to the druid grove, run by the bankers of Mytros, looking for Herkus, to see if he would accompany the slaves north to get them out of reach of the slavers.

The grove is a place of peace in the city and the trees there are incredible pieces of the druidic arts- fusions of wonderful native and non-native plants, presumably twinned to plants in groves across Thylea.

As pleasant as it was though, by the time we got back to our beds, the early glow of oncoming dawn was appearing on the horizon. At least tomorrow would be my birthday and a time to enjoy. It will be nice to celebrate with my friends, it is something I have missed since leaving the tribe.
