I may have given her cheek but Ambrosia was so right as she alerted me and Braz about the people of Mytros. In Braz’s case, it was a clear warning regarding his safety in a city that somehow thinks that using his kind as slaves and sacrifices is acceptable. In my case, a sad prompt, a parallel of sorts - but one reminding me that mortals are petty and hateful, that people rarely warm up to differences. It is because of that that I am also hesitant about assigning blame solely to the Titans. Some of these issues won’t be sorted even when the Titans are defeated.
So I hide, yet again, because people, humans, are afraid. At least I am not myself in constant fear like the minotaurs. And it’s because of this that we need to save the minotaurs, because no humans should be able to fear, judge, demonise or subjugate a whole race just because they are different.
I really do not really care what Vallus makes of this. You can try making rules and laws, but if the people that should follow them both do not care about the principles nor about the powers enforcing them - or failing to enforce them in this case - it is of little use. We’ll just be turning our back and the seeds of this darkness will sprout yet again.
