Into the Belly of the Beast
They heard them coming.
As the party ascended into the long bronze tubes and tunnels that led up and up the inside of the colossus the sound of thier indelicacy ran like the clapper of a bell.
They emerged single file into the embrace of 3 large minotaurs bent on murder as well as a captain who knew the inner workings of this machine well and was unleashing gases and fumes into the room. Some made them laugh. Some made them cough up blood and bile. Weak following the long fight before, the heroes struggled to land punishing attacks and the final blows came as the party hunched over spear and sword breathing hard.
It was time for a rest - but dare the party take one?
