The island of Themis is home to the Amazons, a matriarchal society of warriors. The story goes that, after the 'weak men' of generations past went out to war and died, the women of Themis rebuilt the nation in their stead.
It is currently ruled by Queen Thesilea the 6th, who led a coup against Thesilea the 5th with the support of the Amazon Rangers.
However, Moxena disputes this and claims to be the rightful Queen Thesilea the 6th. But, after leading the coup 30 years ago, she was betrayed by her sisters, who currently share the throne.
