Moxena is incorrigible. She may have stopped being the Lady of Coins but she’s still a medusa. One that is scared and, as such, overly careful about anything that may threaten her. Such as the athlete from Themis, Erebeth, who we found petrified in her lair. Apparently she had become a threat. The problem is that by telling us she’s made us co-conspirators in this mess. One does wonder if Moxena is an asset or more of a liability.
The games have started and the party have truly shown their skill, winning medals on top of medals. The athletes, Braz, Xan, Hippofilius and Helikaon, excelled throughout the first week. I tried to help a bit though it’s their talent that shines through across the different competitions. Calliope seems especially adept at cheering on and motivating the others, her joy and enthusiasm are contagious. And her ability to keep down her drink is quite impressive as well… only Pholon manage to beat the two of us in the post game festivities at the Siren’s Roost. Let’s just hope the excitement stays within the competitions for the next week as well.
