The night before leaving to sea had been very busy.

The others spoke of late nights in the library. Speaking of fates, speaking of lost villages, speaking of theater.

Braz spent much of the day bringing items aboard the ship for the journey. The day before on the boat he had ideally spoken about the desire for a cushion to take aboard the Ultros. The next day he spent the day bringing an ever-increasing pile of soft furnishings aboard the boat.

Once behind the quiet of his room Braz lit the candles, started drawing scented oils into a pool and ran his finger through the warmed slick.

Many hours passed as Braz consults the fogs of the future. Learning much of the nature of some of the islands Braz slumped into a pile of cushions exhausted. He woke to a start as the boat rocked forward.
