Calliope and Kyrah’s To Do List

(Written after Calliope gave Kyrah gave her her lute back.)

  • Sew Braz’s cushions together
  • Try to grow mushrooms in the corner of Hippofilius’ room. See how much space we can take up before he notices
  • Add salt to one of Pythor’s amphora1
  • Add chili to one of Pythor’s amphoras
  • Fill Theo’s pockets with beans rocks notes addressed to other peoples2
  • Convince Helikaon that it is an old Dragonlord tradition to greet people by saying ‘By the Dragon’s claw’
  • Switch Versi’s ‘potent’ incense with Braz’s homeopathic incense3
  • Convince the sailors that Xan has requested the stock of citrus fruit be kept in her cabin - out of the storage crates4
  • Switch all of Theo’s shirts with Loreus’
  • Try to befriend Alke’s snakes while she isn’t looking by feeding them bits of food from the galley - see if we can convince them to lick people mid-conversation

Footnotes

This didn’t seem to work - no one seemed to notice. They were all much too drunk. Kyrah thinks the chili will work better - but says we should put in double the amount to be sure.

We are in two minds about whether we should put a note in every single pocket of every piece of clothing he owns, or whether we should do it one at a time for the next few weeks. I think he is more likely to go and deliver these notes ot people if we do the latter; but it will be more baffling if we do the former.

We didn’t actually do this one - Versi came and told us not to just moments after discussing it. I… am not certain what we thought was going to happen.

Moving all of the oranges and lemons into Xan’s room seems pretty easy to me; but I think convincing the sailors that she wants them rolling about loose on the floor is probably a step too far. We are probably going to have to do that bit ourselves!

Unsure yet whether at that point we will start planting notes in Loreus’ clothes instead of Theo’s - more thought is needed.

The first bit of this seems easy enough - but I am not sure how Kyrah thinks we are going to convey the second part of this plan to the snakes without Alke noticing…
