Session 129 - 18 July 2023 - Under da sea
As they fly through the waves and the corals Xan and Theo see bright multicoloured fish flying past. It is beautiful under the water. The fish were not spooked by their presence, and just continued playing with the saltwater crayfish and seemingly bothering an octopus with big beady eyes.
They stopped at a small colourful cove in the coral. Ife laughed playfully.
“Why are you here?” she asked.
Xan tried to answer eloquently and honestly.
“To keep the world going, we have a responsibility to this world. The oath of peace is ending and we want to stop the world falling into chaos” Theo added to the explanation.
Ife seemed convinced by this. She explained more about the island. It only allows those near it who are pure of intentions. Those who intend ill will should not be able to access the island. The mother decide She told them of a dragon that once visited. Or as she called it, a large fish. She said it played a game with squares.
She said that oaths made here on the island were held to a stronger bond.
“Take what your heart wanted, not what your mind wants”
Ife protects the barrier between the sea and the land. Her sister look up to the skies and down into the island’s heart. Xan and Theo listened intently as she told them about the life of the island and its intricacies.
Before they left the sea Ife allowed Xan to take a beautiful lavender pearl. In exchange Xan gave Ife the small round pin she had on her cloak. Ife placed a necklace around Theo’s neck, a magical present.
