Watching Calliope swoop through the sky and her eye catching Pythors daughter racing across the battlefield Xan took the opportunity to dash across the field, and dove seamlessly into the low river, hiding while she worked out her next move. Using the river as cover she moves around the wall, jumps out of the river and is faced with a wall of thorns, with the tiny figure of Alke being mobbed by the vine zombies. Xan quickly shoots an arrow them and destroys it before it gets a chance. She aims her arrow at the next.
Then the dragon moves - flying across the grass followed by an enraged Pythor slamming his axe into her as she swoops. They scream at each other about their love, hate and betrayal. Xan raises her bow at Hexia and is immediately on the receiving end of a screech. Xan wails back, pain ringing through her ears, and holds her position, shooting an arrow into the dragon.
Alke streched her hand out towards the beats, throwing a huge fireball at her just as she landed on the top of the broken building, sneering down at Theo and Calliope. The dragon dissolves in flames, screeching.
