Detached, seemingly intelligent severed hand that detached off of the Kobold Guthber after his death, where it appeared as a giant claw, then appeared to change in shape as different PCs approached, changing to a Tiefling's hand when Waxillium approached, a half-elf when Haeldir did etc.
Seemed to be making offers of 'Great Knowledge' specifically 'Magical Knowledge' to each PC, then when turned down and blasted with cantrips and weapons (to no effect, although it shrunk back from Sacred Flames) thought could be clearly heard 'Blah, Sorcerers and Warlocks, I prefer Wizards anyway, far better conversation'
Recently, Jarvis admitted to striking a deal with Handy, cutting off his own hand to attach this item to it. Going back through previous notes, he believes Handy to have something to do with a mural that was spotted of a meditating 4-armed demon with one hand missing at the Truthwatcher Dome, the monastery right outside more accurately.
Handy mentioned (well, gave Jarvis the thought) that there was a 'rift' below, then something about a 'Far realm beyond the outer planes' being involved.
